I joined the patents team at D Young & Co in 2020 and since then have enjoyed applying my strong technical knowledge to help a variety of clients.

Before joining D Young & Co, I completed a master’s degree in physics at the University of Oxford. My academic background covers a wide range of topics within physics, including a particular focus on laser science and quantum information processing. During my degree, I undertook a research project in which I developed a method for automatically aligning an optical apparatus using machine learning techniques.

Since joining D Young & Co, I have been involved in the drafting and prosecution of many European, UK, and foreign patent applications over a range of technologies in the fields of engineering, electronics, and IT.
