In supporting your in-house IP department, our aim is to develop a close understanding of your business, your technology, your commercial aims and your ethics.
This approach is evidenced by the longevity of our client relationships, many of which stretch back over many years. Your success is our success.
We understand that control, flexibility and regular contact are fundamental to good working relationships. Many of our team have worked in industry or as in-house legal departments and we often second team members to integrate our teams fully with in-house counsel for a specific period of time or for a given project.
Knowledge sharing
Keeping our clients informed of new legislation, relevant case law, market trends and other topical issues affecting their particular industry sector is a key part of our service offering. We achieve this in a number of ways including regular IP newsletters, webinars, publications (such as our EPO Board of Appeal Decisions, European Design Law and European Trade Mark Decisions books) and our online knowledge bank of IP cases and articles.
We frequently deliver client seminars or workshops on a wide variety of IP topics and are able to tailor any training or seminar programme to reflect particular issues of relevance or interest to clients and in-house teams, whether relating to complex legal issues or more practical points surrounding IP portfolio management.
We can also improve processes and IP management by bringing our external perspective and in-house experience to look more holistically at your existing systems and structure and suggesting efficiencies.
