Ella Lane

I provide advice to a broad range of clients in the creative and technology sectors primarily in relation to contentious intellectual property matters. I enjoy working with clients to protect, enhance and exploit their intellectual property and resolve disputes.

Prior to joining D Young & Co in 2025, I worked in the dispute resolution team at a media and entertainment law firm, where I qualified as a solicitor in 2023.

My experience includes pre-action advice and correspondence in relation to intellectual property infringement, breach of contract claims, reputation management disputes and domain name disputes. My experience also includes litigation in the High Court, IPEC and County Courts and registry proceedings before the UK and EU intellectual property offices. I also have experience of resolving disputes through mediation.
