Technical Assistant London
Profile of Petr Ufimkin

Since joining D Young & Co in 2023 I have gained valuable experience in European and UK patent prosecution and opposition for a wide range of clients seeking to commercialise their inventions.

I completed a Master in Science chemistry degree at Imperial College London, including a chemical engineering ancillary course. During my undergraduate degree I undertook an industrial placement at Merck KGaA, where I developed organic solar cells over the course of a year. More recently, I completed a PhD in chemistry from Imperial College London, where my research focused on the synthesis of materials for organic solar cells and their fabrication into working devices. Prior to joining D Young & Co I worked at a start-up in lead-acid battery recycling as a process chemist.
